How They Met:

Patrick and Gabriella met while both attending the University of Rhode Island. With a large group of mutual friends in common, the two clicked from the start and quickly realized how much they shared in common.

How They Knew They Had Met “The One”

Gabriella first realized Patrick was the one when once they began talking about the future and what each wanted. Their wants, hopes and dreams, however far-fetched or silly, were almost identical. She also loved how much fun they would have on the simplest of dates. As he stood by and supporting her during her most vulnerable times, it only strengthened the feeling that she had found the man she was destined to be with!

Patrick’s revelation came after the first year they started dating. He admitted, that before they met he seemed to lack motivation and direction in his life. However, as their relationship progressed and started to blossom, he suddenly found himself working harder than he ever has. The more he did so, the more Gabriella supported and pushed him. When he realized she was just as caring and supportive when he would fall, he knew this was the woman he wished to spend the rest of his life with.

Why Did You Choose This Location To Propose?

We chose New York because it has always been an important place to both of us. We visit often, and have always talked about how much we would love to someday live here. As it turns out, we both had privately dreamt about someday being a part of this city before we even met! The Brooklyn Heights Promenade was a perfect spot to propose as it provides a stunning view of the city, a place close to both of our hearts. Getting engaged somewhere so special to both of us really felt right.

Eduard admits it can be difficult to find ways to surprise her. So when they both had a few days off from work, he whisked her away to New York City for a romantic trip. Thrilled by their mini-vacation, and distracted by the hustle and bustle of Times Square, she never saw this moment coming!

In the bustling heart of NYC, David knelt down on one knee and asked Kristina for her hand in marriage.

Known for its 24 hour bright lights and continuous shuffle,  Times Square is debatably one of NYC’s biggest attractions.  Making the hub yours for that magical moment takes some precise planning, but with the help of Paparazzi Proposals, David was able to turn it into a romantic, memorable moment for the both of them!

The pair started the evening by sharing a toast at the renowned rooftop Bar 54.  Located on the top level of the Times Square Hyatt, the bar claims the highest perch in the city for drinks and has stunning views to match.  Unbeknownst to Kristina, one of our sneaky snappers caught the couple sharing a romantic moment, lounging with elegant flutes of champagne and admiring the views as the sun set over the city.  Afterwards, David surprised her with dinner reservations at the Times Square Italian eatery, La Masseria.

But the surprises weren’t over yet.  After their meal, our photog followed them on a stroll into the Square.  Knowing that Kristina loved the sound of the harp, David worked with Paparazzi Proposals to secretly arrange to have a harp player in the center of all the hustle and bustle. The pair stopped to admire the enchanting melodies.  That’s when David dropped to one knee, and presented Kristina with a gorgeous ring.

The weather and scenery of Central Park? Perfect. The surprise picnic from our friends at Perfect Picnic NYC? Splendid. Oh, and the ring? Absolutely flawless!

Chris hit a home run with this classic, romantic proposal. After taking a stroll through the park, they came upon a picnic blanket complete with flowers, food and champagne. As they sat down to enjoy themselves, Jenna had no idea this wasn’t the only surprise he had up his sleeve. As he began to tell her how much she meant to him, he got onto one knee, pulled out a gorgeous ring and proposed! After the shock wore off, she said “YES!”

However, those weren’t the only surprises. Chris had also contacted Paparazzi Proposals to arrange for our unique style of proposal photography to capture every second before, during and after the big moment. Little did she know that one of our paparazzi-style photographers was secretly snapping pictures as they strolled through the park and settled down to enjoy lunch. Once upon a time Lauren was simply just another regular customer at Enrico’s bagel store on Long Island. However, something about her caught his eye. After almost a year of slowly getting to know each other through pleasant small talk, he finally mustered up the courage to ask for her number. In the past, Lauren would never have given out her number in this way. But this time, something felt different and she made the leap of faith. 

Since that moment, not a day has passed in which they have not spoken. The fun they have when with one another was undeniable. Even the shortest amount of time spent apart felt like an eternity. Realizing this was the woman he was meant to marry, Enrico finally began getting ready to ask for her hand. However, he wanted to be sure he would propose in a way that would have special meaning to them both. Since New York City had been the setting for so many of the special times they shared with one another, it would make for the perfect place for him to propose. Timothy had known he wanted to marry Hanah for some time. However, he wanted to make sure would have no idea when it would be and it would be done in a way she would never forget. The romantic in him quickly took over…

He meticulously planned a fun night out in the city including dinner and tickets to see The Nutcracker, followed by a private horse and carriage ride which would secretly be awaiting them afterwards.

But he didn’t stop there. He also contacted Paparazzi Proposals for our surprise proposal photography services! Posing as a photographer for the horse and carriage company, Hanah thought it was exciting they were about to be featured as the couple for a new marketing campaign. Sure we were there to photograph the couple, but for a much bigger and better reason! Entering Central Park, the driver pulled up to the iconic Bow Bridge. As the two stepped out onto the bridge to soak in the gorgeous glow of the city lights sparkling above the tree tops, Timothy made his move! Down on bended knee, he asked Hanah if she would spend the rest of their lives together. Looking at these pictures, there is no need to tell you she said yes! Oh, and one more thing…to propose to her!

Their first meeting was pure fate. Having finished work for the day, Justin was half out the door. However, they were busier than usual and a receptionist asked if he could stay longer and help out one last customer. Little did he know this customer would one day turn out to be his fiancee!  They felt an instant connection, and talking every after their chance encounter, the two fell head over heels in love with one another. Justin selected to propose in New York in December as they both love both Christmas and the Big Apple. He also knew he wanted to do it in public so as many of her friends could be a part of it as possible.

He also contacted Paparazzi Proposals to secretly photograph the proposal, so she could share it with even more of her family and friends with pictures the big moment. Unfortunately, a four hour plane delay threw off the timing of his proposal plan and the shoot wold have to be rescheduled. However, Justin was on a mission and was determined to propose no matter what! Bending down on one knee in front of the iconic Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center, Justin popped the big questions and Tania said…yes!

Feeling awful things did not work out as planned, Paparazzi Proposals swapped the proposal shoot for engagement photography with a newly-engaged couple portrait shoot instead. With stunning wintertime views of Central Park as their backdrop, they walked through the park with our photographer snapping pictures of the happy couple throughout.
