Jeff reached out to us to plan a romantic picnic engagement in Central Park.

While enjoying a romantic stroll in the park with his partner, they stumbled upon our classic picnic, complete with blanket, a bottle of chilled Prosecco, charcuterie and cheese platter. His partner was completely surprised and wondered how it all got setup. Little did she know, it was only the beginning of their special day.

As his partner admired the picnic, Jeff took out one more surprise from his pocket: a diamond ring! She turned around to find him down on one knee, asking the question that she has been waiting for: Will you marry me?

Of course, she said YES! Our sneaky photographer was at a distance capturing every moment with the stunning Bow Bridge in the background.

He revealed himself after for the last surprise: an impromptu portrait session around the park.

It was a day that neither of them will every forget.

Summer is the picture-perfect time for Central Park picnic proposals, so the day could not have been more magical for the newly-engaged couple.

Even more romantic, they shared with us their love story, below.

How and when did you guys meet?

“The old fashioned way… the internet on February 23, 2019. Our first date was in February at Gloria’s in Addison, TX.

What was the first thing that attracted you to one another?

“Lisa’s eyes & Randy’s eyes of course, but really – we started with a handful of text messages that lead into a conversation, lasting more than 3 hours. It went from very personal and deep, to laughter about a gamut of things. We’ve continued to be able to talk about all things all the time – it’s intimate and comforting.”

When did you know that they were the one?

“Lisa knew on Day 28 (3/22/19) & Randy on Day 7 (3/1/19). We were engaged on day 118 – When you know you know.”

Why did you choose to propose where you did?
“The trip to NYC was initially a surprise concert for Lisa; but Central Park had the busyness and quiet space that is our lives. I knew I want to propose in NYC. I thought rooftop, helicopter, at a restaurant, Time Square ,in front of Tiffany’s at the Brooklyn Bridge but all of those where about me. Central Park was about her we love to walk and talk love being outdoors. It provided the prefect spot to propose to the prefect woman. Where it was just about us yet lots of things happening around us.”

“We met at a bus stop in college and, then, a few weeks later went on a date. I was drawn to her happiness! She was always laughing and smiling and just fun to be around.” (Stefania says that she was drawn to his sense of humor and love for Harry Potter. No one has ever made her laugh like him.)

“I knew she was the one once we made the decision to move to New York and live together about 2 years ago.I chose to propose at Bryant Park because it is her favorite park in NYC!”

This gorgeous couple went out for a fun Sunday and came back engaged!

The air during March has a different feel in New York City. People are slowly starting to come out of their cave and others begin to occupy the streets once again. With March practically flying by, Rahim made sure that March 2015 would be memorable. The weather was perfect for a nice stroll through the park. With strangers and their families secretly waiting for Rahim and Ria to seal the deal, you can tell that Rahim made sure that every detail was thought out. Rahim also came armed with Paparazzi Proposals and the amazing tunes by 45 Riots. Ria, this wasn’t just any ordinary day.

As our couple made their way towards the Bethesda Fountain, that’s when our snappers started going off and the musician began to get ready. What song did Rahim select? None other than For you by Kenny Lattimore. The mood began to settle in as the butterflies in Rahim’s stomach were more alive than ever. He was getting prepared to ask for Ria’s hand in marriage. You can tell that the element of laughter is so important in this couple’s life. They’re always smiling and that’s what we love to see from a proposal. Smiling couples make our day! They later made their way to the boat house where their loved ones were patiently waiting to congratulate their Rahim and Ria. This was a family affair! Kudos to you Rahim. Carl’s proposal to Roxanne was beautiful.

A little bit of snow and frigid air wasn’t going to stop Carl from dropping down to one knee. Their love blossomed from the moment they met. These native New Yorkers soon became each other’s world. After a beautiful five year relationship, Carl wanted Roxanne’s laugher to be apart of his life forever and took their relationship to the next level. Their first date was in Boat House that is in Central Park. Carl wanted to bring it back to that moment and that’s why he chose the Bethesda Fountain.

As they made their way through the park, Carl had an engagement ring from David So Diamonds in his pocket. Roxanne was guided by Carl to the talented 45 Riots band that sang for them. A bouquet of roses was waiting for her and before she knew it, Carl was slowly dropping down to one knee. Paparazzi Proposals was there to capture every single moment down to the wiping of her tear. When Carl thinks of Roxanne, the word forever comes to mind. That’s what he sees in her. His soon to be wife has lit up his life. This proposal warmed our hearts despite what the winter air is saying.

Terry and Cristina had met previously in college but it wasn’t till after they embarked on the journey of life after college that they soon discovered a life with one another.

Timing is everything but when fate knocks at your door, things are just meant to be. This is the case with these two lovebirds. Terry and Cristina had met through mutual friends during college but their love story didn’t start till much after graduation. Not only is life after college a journey but when you have someone by your side, that ride is another thriller added.

Their reunion happened again through mutual friends and this time around, both parties were single and it was time for destiny to take over this beautiful couple. Terry is a man that pays attention to the small things. Cristina’s smile is something he cannot stop raving about. Her inner beauty has forever casted a spell over Terry and he’s in love with everything about her down to her organizational skills. Now you know he pays attention, Cristina.

February’s in New York can be harsh given the extreme cold weather. However, the passion behind Terry and Cristina was enough to remind the city of the heat waves it often goes through during the summer. Georgia Diamond Corporation was behind the stunning ring Terry placed on her finger. Terry, with the help of his best friend, Kyle and her best friend Colleen, were able to put this magical proposal together. In his words, “They’re life savers.” Terry did keep the traditional element and asked her father for his permission to ask Cristina to marry him. This is a good moment to wipe the lonesome tear down your cheek.
