Our favorite Rockefeller engagement photography sessions is, of course, during Christmas.
Brent and Amanda were one of our amazing couples, and they shared with us how they met and fell in love!
“Brent and I met in 2014 in the parking garage at work. I had just gotten hired at the Sheriff’s Office where Brent had gotten hired just two months prior. Brent’s class had recently graduated from the academy, so his class spent a few days speaking to my class about what to expect when we attend the upcoming academy. Brent and I were friends in the beginning of our relationship..until he worked up the courage to ask me out on our first official date a year and a half later!”
“What attracted me to Brent was his sense of humor and how funny he is. He always has a story to tell, and there is something about the way he describes events and details that can make a room burst into laughter.”
“I knew Brent was “The One” after we spent a night sitting up and talking for HOURS. We were playing “25 Questions” and asked each other the most random questions we could think of. Brent confessed his love for Christmas, Disney and basically admitted to living life as just a big kid at heart. When I realized I was dating the male version of myself, I knew I had found the one I had been searching for my whole life.”
“I chose to propose at the Ice Rink at Rockefeller Center because Amanda and I both love Christmas. I couldn’t think of any other place that would give me the perfect Christmas environment. Proposing at the Ice Rink at Rockefeller Center also allowed me to share a moment that was soley ours, while hundreds of people cheered and shared in the excitement. I also chose this location because, in the midst of one of the busiest times of the year, in one of the busiest places in the world, it allowed me the opportunity to make time stand still, making that moment all about us.”
