Jeff’s Central Park after dark engagement to Tia was as romantic as a Midsummer Night’s Dream.  After dinner, Jeff had arranged for a horse and carriage to pick them up and bring them the Bethesda Fountain.  Here, a musician was waiting to serenade them with their favorite Disney songs!  At the crescendo of The Little Mermaid’s “Kiss the Girl,” Jeff dropped to one knee and asked Tia for her hand in marriage.

Jeff gushed about his experience:

How They Met:

Back to where it all began! The highschool sweethearts at Jeff’s Senior prom. Photo provided by Jeff.

Jeff and Tia attended the same high school.  Jeff, a Varsity ice hockey player, was a year older than cheerleader Tia.  Though the pair had admired each other from afar, they were officially introduced through mutual friends.

Jeff thought Tia was stunning and a cute cheerleader, and Tia was impressed by the handsome upperclassman.  As they began to spend more time together, Jeff’s heart was totally won over by Tia’s intelligence and vibrant personality, and she was won over by his kindness and loving nature.

Jeff asked Tia to his Senior Prom, and the two have been falling in love more and more each day ever since.

How They Knew:

Tia and Jeff both knew early on that they had found The One.  They were happy being together, and wanted to take time to pursue their careers before they took they got engaged.

“We were just happy and content being a couple, being together and being in love!” Said Jeff, adding that he knew for years that he would propose, he was just waiting for it to be the perfect time for them both.

The Proposal:

Jeff took it back to the beginning by planning the proposal at the same location where they took a trip as a couple for the first time.

“We both love NYC and together we both share great memories of prior NYC trips,” he said.  “Every aspect and detail of my proposal to Tia was a reflection of not only prior trips we’ve taken to NYC together, but also reflections of our relationship past, present and as a whole,” he added.

The pair took a carriage ride on their first NYC trip, so he made sure their proposal featured one.  They also often shared dinners at Tavern On The Green, their go-to spot on former trips.  The couple loves taking trips to Disney World together, so he had a musician play a few of their favorite classic songs.

“And, I hope I am her prince she dreamed of her entire life,” he also revealed.

After they shared a romantic waltz beneath the stars, he dropped to one knee and popped the question before pointing out Paparazzi Proposals‘ sneaky photog, who had discreetly captured the whole thing!  Check out the package Jeff booked and then customized, here.

How They Met:

David and Jill met at work in their hometown of Buffalo.

“I wish I could tell you we met in some exotic place under the stars, or someplace sexy like the Caribbean, but that’s just not the case here,” David said, comically.  But it was the effort that David put in just to meet Jill that makes their love story romantic, no matter the setting.
The two crossed paths at work, and David noticed her immediately. He thought she was “drop-dead gorgeous,” and wanted to get to know her. He thought about how he could see her again, and reached out to one of his coworkers who worked directly with Jill to get him into some of the meetings they attended together.

Falling in Love:

Every time their paths “crossed,” David struck up conversation and turned on the charm.

Jill was impressed that he was able to make her laugh. She ultimately agreed to go on a date with him, despite their mutual concern about dating someone they worked with.
“Neither one of us could say no!” He said. “Something just drew us to each other.”
On their first date, conversation was easy. They spoke all night, with Jill revealing at one point that she thought she was never going to get married. David immediately thought he was going to change her mind. During that meal, he already had decided that one day, he would ask Jill to marry him.
He simply knew that he couldn’t live with out her.
They went out on two more dates that week, and by Friday, Jill had reversed her opinion on marriage. She knew David was The One, even after just one week of dating.
As they got to know each other, their initial feelings were confirmed. Being together was easy. They both work high-pressure jobs, but when they were together, all of the stress seemed to melt away. Thinking back on their respective paths, David and Jill decided that it was nothing short of fate that brought them together. They felt lucky to have met each other.

The Proposal:

David said Jill knows him better than anyone, so she had an idea that he was going to propose on their weekend getaway to NYC.

He wanted to make sure that the proposal itself was a surprise tailored to Jill’s interests.
Jill loves photography, so David searched the web and came across Paparazzi Proposals‘ unique approach to surprise engagement photography.  He knew instantly it would be perfect for his proposal with a view.

So on a Saturday night, he took Jill on a tour of Top of the Rock. With the Manhattan night skyline in the background, he dropped to one knee and presented her with a stunning ring from Reed’s Jewelers in their hometown.
And of course, she said, “Yes!”

The same can be said of David and Dena’s relationship! They first met over four years ago when David summoned up the courage to approach her at a party. Sadly, things cooled off after a few dates and they both went their separate ways. However, fate sometimes has a funny way of working out. Years later, after a mutual friend had mentioned the time they dated, they found a way to reconnect. The second time was a charm!

When they reunited, David quickly remembered what had first drawn him to her. Her confidence and sweet smile were infectious. Meanwhile, Dena was also infatuated by his smile, and was enamored with his  piercing blue eyes. To hear both of them tell it, it was right around their third date (of round 2!) when they realized they had each found the person they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with.

Knowing he was ready to propose, David began meticulously planning an elaborate proposal. However, while flying back to New York from a trip they had taken together, he decided he just couldn’t wait any longer. With her head resting on his shoulder and fast asleep, David scrapped his grandiose proposal plans for something more simple and quite possibly even more romantic and memorable. Knowing Fort Tryon Park had some of the most gorgeous scenery and stunning views in all of New York City, he knew this was the perfect place to propose. Yet, he wanted more. She meant the world to him, and this moment was so important that he wanted to commemorate it with beautiful photographs they could both cherish for a lifetime. So we had one of our discreet, paparazzi-style photographers in perfect position to secretly capture the very moment he dropped down to one knee to propose. Before we tell you how he did it, why don’t we share their heartwarming love story!

They met over five years ago while working in the same office together. It wasn’t until close to three years later that they went on their first date. They quickly bonded over a few beers at Dive 75 and a quick bite at a New York City favorite, Gray’s Papaya. Their conversation flowed and they both felt one another was easy to talk to. Needless to say, they laughed together long into the night. They say distance only makes the heart grow fonder, and this is exactly how and when they both realized they had met the person with whom they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with.

They had only been dating for six months when James was forced to travel to South Africa. What was nine months felt like an eternity, and they both realized they couldn’t stand to be apart, and never wanted to leave each other’s side again.

James was soon ready for the next step. So with a little help from their families, he planned a romantic surprise proposal on the Upper West Side. With his entire family in town for Easter, he recruited them to help pull it off. While “waiting for the family to get ready for the day,” they took a stroll to picturesque Riverside Park to kill some time. As they walked into the park, James pointed out an acoustic guitar player. As they approached to listen, Elise noticed a bouquet of roses and a card with her name on it sitting in the open guitar case…

As she opened the card and began reading, James made his big move. He slowly dropped to his knee, pulled out a stunning engagement ring from Diamond Ideals and asked is she would spend the rest of her life with him. She proudly declared, “YES!” That wasn’t end of the surprises! Taking a break from strumming, the guitarist, provided by our friends at 45 Riots, pointed someone out in the distance. It was none other than Paparazzi Proposals‘ hidden proposal photographer who had been secretly snapping pictures of every second of this amazing moment. As the newly engaged couple posed for some portraits, there was yet another surprise! Excitedly entering the park was James’ entire family, who had been waiting close by with some strawberries and chilled champagne to celebrate!
