Brandon and Bethanni met a little over 6 years ago during Freshman orientation in college and a friendship quickly developed.
It wasn’t until their Junior year that they finally begun to date. After graduation, they found themselves living just blocks away from one another in downtown Chicago’s Wrigleyville. As they explored the city with one another their love truly blossomed. Brandon quickly realized he wanted to propose and spend the rest of his life with Bethanni!
He wanted to do something that would not only surprise here, but also be unique and memorable. So he nonchalantly invited a group of their close friends to join them for a night of ice skating at Peninsular Hotel’s Sky Rink. Little did they all know that he also had arranged for Paparazzi Proposals to be hidden there for some surprise proposal photography!
As they two skating around the ice rink, Todd Kessler, a former contestant on NBC’s The Voice, approached and began to sing “500 Miles.” Brandon slowed, got down on one knee and told Bethanni he would walk 5 thousand miles if she would marry him! Having not even told their friends of his plan, they were all delightfully shocked! It only got better when they found out someone had secretly been snapping pictures of every second before, during and after the proposal!
