So they planned for Ji to bring Yuan to Times Square where he had family and friends hidden amongst the crowd. Under the glow of the bright lights, he slowly got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. The lights in Times Square have never shined brighter!

After she said yes, our photographer popped for an newly engaged couple portrait shoot. Rather than some staged pictures taken weeks after getting engaged, these shots the moments after the proposal really capture the love, magic and excitement of their big moment. They arranged to have candles, flowers and champagne secretly waiting for them on a Manhattan rooftop, illuminated by the romantic glow of skyline. To set the mood even further, they had a sweet serenader from 45 Riots greet them with some beautiful acoustic guitar singing. But something was still missing. As school and careers pulled them in different directions, they found themselves living on opposite coasts and eventually losing touch. However, fate would dictate a much happier ending!

Twenty years had passed, and Tara had since moved back to New Jersey. Once here, she decided she would go see her friend’s, who were actually Joe’s sisters, run the New York City Marathon. Having not seen Joe in so long, she hesitated. After giving in to a little friendly peer pressure, she gave in went. Little did they both know this would change both of their lives forever!

The two immediately picked up where they left of, and the rest is, as they say, history! When planning the proposal, Joseph wanted to make it as special as Tara made him feel. Having reunited there, New York City was a place that held important meaning to both of them. However, what’s even more special is their love story.

Proposing to her meant so much to Mitchell. So he hired Paparazzi Proposals to provide surprise engagement photography and capture this special once in a lifetime moment to cherish forever!

They met a little under 2 years ago.  Mitchell is a sober member of AA and director of a 40 bed drug treatment facility. One day he received a call from a friend asking if he would accept a new patient. After the friend explained how special of a person this young lady was, Mitchell agreed to give her an opportunity.

That’s when he met Bryann.  Within a week of moving in she was declaring “I am going to marry Mitch Brown!”  In the months that followed, she remained sober and became one of the more “responsible” clients of the facility. As time passed, they became very close friends. He was forced to fly to NYC for a family emergency and needed someone to step in and help with drug testing the residents in his absence.  Bree not only accepted that challenge, she handled her responsibilities in a capacity Mitch never expected.  Learning this upon his return, her offered her a  job.  She accepted, and still insisted she would one day marry Mitch!

Months later, as his recovery continued to progress, he finally felt he is was in position to be the type of man she truly deserved. he asked her out and the rest as they say, is history. It’s amazing how the universe conspired to bring two people, one troubled and in pain, together in a way that they could help support and lift each other up with love.

The spot he chose to propose was equally special.  It just so happened to be the exact spot in Washington Square Park where his mother and father met 50 years ago.  This spot had such a special meaning to them, it was the perfect place to accept Bree into their family. It doesn’t get much better than this!

He started by developing an elaborate engagement plan that included a fake reality web series, a full camera crew and production team, along with  hair & makeup artists! He effectively convinced her that her and her friends would be featured in the filming of a new web series playfully entitled, “You Have No Idea.” As a full film and production crew showed up, she literally had NO idea what was really about to happen.

But he didn’t stop there! Before they even made it to the big “taping,” Brian had arranged multiple stops for her at several spots near and dear to them as a couple. Once her unofficial “tour” was down, the real magic began as she made it to the location at which they would be “filming”. It was the first anniversary of their very first date and so Rich wanted to to take Shannon back to the spot where it all had started: the restaurant where they had their first date.

Picture NoMad, the cool part of town North of Madison Square Park in Manhattan. Fall was finally here and  we were ready to help Rich secure his girl! Our paparazzi photographer was waiting out of sight to capture Rich and Shannon arriving and to photograph this amazing proposal. Shannon had no idea and was bowled over by Rich’s gesture.

We loved being part of this proposal as it was simple, evocative and the joy on both Shannon and Rich’s faces is evident. It doesn’t hurt that New York is at her most photogenic at this time of year too, which set the scene beautifully for their proposal photos.

Dave and Kathy had no idea that our sneaky snappers were even there during the whole proposal or family surprise at the restaurant!

Kathy’s mum contacted us to help capture this amazing moment for her daughter and son in-law to be, she knew it was going to happen at the Kontokosta Winery in Long Island but that was all she knew.

Our paparazzi photographer was in position to capture this beautiful proposal and then rush off to get into position a a local restaurant where both sets of families were waiting to surprise the happy couple!
