So he planned to pop the question while on vacation in New York City. Being from Brazil, he contacted Paparazzi Proposals to help him with proposal ideas, locations and surprise engagement photography!

We were able to arrange for a private, romantic horse and carriage ride through and around Central Park. Afterwards, they continued to explore all the park had to offer, stopping at each of the iconic locations along the way. As they paused atop the historic Bow Bridge, Fernando made his move!

Getting down on one knee, he pulled out a lovely note he had penned to Glaucia professing his undying love for her. As tears began to well up, he produced the ring and asked for her hand in marriage. So he devised a way to talk to her, mustered up the courage and walked over and spoke to her. The conversation was brief, but fate would arrange for their paths to meet again.

The next day, as he now sat in the same coffee shop studying, she appeared once again. Feeling even bolder, and certain the universe had somehow arranged for them to meet again, he bravely asked for her number. As they say, the rest is history. Their relationship quickly blossomed, and as they grew closer, Tim knew Sydney was the woman he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.

Tim knew New York held a special place in her heart. So while she was visiting a friend there, he planned a secret trip to not only surprise…but to propose to her as well! Knowing she would be shocked to see him let alone propose, he hired Paparazzi Proposals for some surprise engagement photography. They were able to discreetly photograph the entire evening paparazzi-style, including the big moment he dropped to his knee and popped the question!

“We met in college (Indiana University) at a Halloween party of a mutual friend.  As soon as we became close, I left for a semester abroad, studying in Sydney, Australia.  Thanks to modern technology, we were able to talk everyday via Skype.  When the semester had finished, on my way back to the Midwest (where I am from), I stopped in Los Angeles to spend a week with Lily.  I didn’t waste any time, asking her to be my girlfriend the day I arrived.  A little over 6 years have passed and we are now engaged.”

With the help of the staff at the Ritz Carlton, Ryan had arranged for a private sunset dinner for two overlooking the beach. After the appetizers were brought out, so was the first of many surprises for the evening.

Ryan played a short video of a jeweler meticulously crafting of a special one of a kind ring. As Amy watched the video come to an end, he held her hand and helped her to her feet. Looking into her eyes, and professing his undying love for her, he revealed secret #2, the ring from the video! As tears welled in her eyes, Ryan slowly got down on one knee and asked if she would spend the rest of their lives together. Amy quickly shook off the shock to declare “YES!”

They popped a bottle of champagne and our photographer, hidden and secretly taking pictures of the proposal (secret #3!), now made himself known. Amy was delighted Ryan had arranged proposal photography to capture the actual moment he proposed, to share with friends and family, and cherish these photographs for a lifetime. With the help of her brother and a few friends, he brought her to what she thought was a simple rooftop reunion dinner with some old friends. Unbeknownst to her, that was only half the plan!

Once they reached the roof,  a pathway lined with rose petals immediately grabbed her attention. As they made their way towards the end of the path, she noticed a small table lined with some more flowers and champagne. As she wondered where her friends may be and why this odd little table was sitting there, she noticed one last item…a diamond engagement ring! As Alex slowly dropped to a knee and asked her to marry him, their friends and family, who were patiently waiting behind the scenes, began to emerge and congratulate the two. The epic celebration had begun!

Knowing he wanted to capture this once in a lifetime moment, Alex hired Paparazzi Proposals for some surprise engagement photography. Kathy had no idea we snapped photographs of the entire event! Both were thrilled they now had genuine photographs of the actual moment he proposed and they became an engaged couple!
