As their lives pulled them in different directions, they eventually lost touch. However, a chance encounter 10 years later reconnected them…and they’ve been inseparable ever since!

Ready to pop the big question, Scott reached out to Paparazzi Proposals for some proposal ideas, location possibilities and our surprise proposal photography service! He chose the beautiful Lovers Key Beach. Beside it’s picturesque views and perfect name for a marriage proposal, it’s also home to one of Christy’s favorite restaurants, “Flippers on The Bay.” So when her friends told her they had planned a beach hang out and dinner afterwards, she had NO reason to believe there was something much bigger about to happen. As they laughed on the beach enjoying the afternoon with their friends, Scott made his move. Pulling her away for a romantic stroll, he began to express how much she meant to him. Pausing and turning towards her, he slowly got down on one knee, and proposed! She said “yes” and they were quickly joined by their friends who were ready to celebrate with some champagne!

With the help of the staff at the Ritz Carlton, Ryan had arranged for a private sunset dinner for two overlooking the beach. After the appetizers were brought out, so was the first of many surprises for the evening.

Ryan played a short video of a jeweler meticulously crafting of a special one of a kind ring. As Amy watched the video come to an end, he held her hand and helped her to her feet. Looking into her eyes, and professing his undying love for her, he revealed secret #2, the ring from the video! As tears welled in her eyes, Ryan slowly got down on one knee and asked if she would spend the rest of their lives together. Amy quickly shook off the shock to declare “YES!”

They popped a bottle of champagne and our photographer, hidden and secretly taking pictures of the proposal (secret #3!), now made himself known. Amy was delighted Ryan had arranged proposal photography to capture the actual moment he proposed, to share with friends and family, and cherish these photographs for a lifetime. Our friends at Gondola Adventures and booked a romantic dinner cruise. After their meal dockside the couple were taken out in a stunning gondola along the canals in Newport beach, with a message in a bottle waiting and a ring in his pocket the scene was set for this amazing proposal.

Jake and Renee spend a lot of their time at the racetrack where Jake races his drag car. Jake knew the race car had to be apart of his proposal as it was such a big part of their lives.

Jake and Renee love going to the beach and spending time there together so we knew this had to be apart of this amazing proposal also. So our creative team came up with the awesome idea of having the race car at the amusement park on Wildwood’s boardwalk. This was the perfect setting for not only a fake photo shoot but also the proposal. The last piece of the puzzle was how was Jake going to propose! He wanted to incorporate some game or ride so after trying out nearly every single ride in the park we decided the best solution was for an old classic quarter  toss game. With the stall owner onboard with the plan all Jake had to do now was win the prize! After the pretend shoot Jake took Renee around the park and stopped at the Quarter Toss game, after a couple of throws Jake won and was handed a cupcake stuffed toy (Jake calls Renee Cupcake!) With the prize in hand Jake reached into the stuffed toy and pulled out a ring box and dropped to one knee! With our cameras set up all around we captured this amazing proposal from every angle.

Valmik had booked the boat through our friends at Proposal-Ideas, after the proposal the captain brought our cheese, flowers and champagne and our photographer did a gorgeous portrait session on the boat as the sun set.

Dave and Kathy had no idea that our sneaky snappers were even there during the whole proposal or family surprise at the restaurant!

Kathy’s mum contacted us to help capture this amazing moment for her daughter and son in-law to be, she knew it was going to happen at the Kontokosta Winery in Long Island but that was all she knew.

Our paparazzi photographer was in position to capture this beautiful proposal and then rush off to get into position a a local restaurant where both sets of families were waiting to surprise the happy couple!

As the couple walked along little did Stephanie know what David had planned! With some rose petals in one pocket and an amazing diamond ring in the other the scene was set for the proposal.

Little did she know that Kevin planned on popping the question that day!

With the help of his brother, Kevin planned a surprise picnic at Crystal Cove Beach in California. As he lead a blindfolded Kathreen down the path to the beach, our photographer caught every step they took! Once they got onto the beach, he removed her blindfold, and she was welcomed by a beautiful picnic of champagne, candles, and chocolate covered strawberries! While the couple enjoyed the sunny scenery, Kevin slowly moved to one knee, pulled a Robbins Brothers Engagement Ring out of his pocket, and asked the love of his life for her hand in marriage. After she tearfully responded with a yes, Kevin’s brother came out from his hiding spot to enjoy a few treats with the happy couple. Kevin finished off the proposal with a few lovely portraits and a continuation of the picnic.

While getting married had been discussed, Abby was completely surprised when Darrell popped the question…

My fiancée Abby and I were brought together through a dating website, Match.com. I’m an Officer in the Navy attached to a submarine, so I sure didn’t have time to date through the traditional means. My fiancée is a full time grad student who was sick of finding frogs. Since we both knew what we wanted, we wanted to go to a place that could provided us exactly that. From the moment we started talking we could tell there was real magic between us and our first date didn’t disappoint. I drove to pick her up in my best suit with a bouquet of flowers so comically big it had to be seat belted and cushioned with a pillow during the trip. She wore a stunning black dress with a smile so beautiful you’d think she was an actress in a tooth paste commercial. We went to a steak restaurant near her school and spent the entire evening smiling and laughing, more interested in each others company than we were with the amazing food or that my parking meter had expired. From that moment on we’ve been the best of friends, and partners in life.

Planning the proposal was a little more complicated than planning the first date, mainly because we had already set up a wedding date. Since I was transferring from CT to HI we decided that we wanted to look at wedding venues while I was still in CT and came across a place that we absolutely loved. Given we had already put a deposit down on the venue she already knew it was going to happen in Hawaii, but with the help of Paparazzi Proposals I was still able to make it special. I made her think that I was going to ask her on top of the Diamond Head Monument by dropping clues about how nice it was, and how about how cool it would be to do it there because we can see it from our house. Then all I had to do was sit back and let her think that I had accidently told her where it was going to be. Once she was certain she had figured it out I took her to a beautiful beach in Ko Olina on the western shore of Hawaii just before sunset, where our Photographer was already waiting. He had previously helped to guide me around the site to ensure we would get the most perfect pictures possible and he even reminded me to make sure she was standing while I got down on one knee. It was a great experience.

For full disclosure my fiancée would probably want me to add that she helped find a couple of the spots on the beach where the pictures were taken. It’s one thing for you to know where YOU want to go, but it it’s a whole other thing to convince her, especially since she had no idea that the Photographer was even there. She was pretty set on going in her own direction! So if things don’t play out exactly the way you want them to, just roll with it. You’re about to ask the person you love the most to spend the rest of their life with you so there is no reason for you to be anything except jubilant. Provided she says yes of course!
