Dallas Engagement Photography – John’s Gondola Proposal
John knew he wanted his proposal to be both special and different. Engagement ring? Check. Romantic gondola ride? Check. Unsuspecting girlfriend? Check.
However, he still wanted more. So he reached out to Paparazzi Proposals for our one-of-a-kind surprise engagement photography!
Not only would Ashleigh be surprised by his proposal, she would also be pleasantly surprised to learn John had arranged for one of our paparazzi-style photographers to secretly capture every minute of it! Before we get to the big moment, let us tell you a little more about how they met and fell in love.
They first met when John’s cousin pulled a prank on them both. Ultimately, it wound up being the best prank ever, as it directly led to the two of them dating. Their personalities were so alike and compatible, they were instantly attracted to each other. After a year of being together, they both privately knew they had found the person they wanted to marry. Six years later, it was finally time to take the next step. So he set up a romantic gondola ride with our friends from Gondola Adventures, and had our photographer perfectly positioned to discreetly capture every second of the moments before, during and after his perfect proposal!
So as they gently glided along the water, their gondolier pointed out a message in a bottle floating nearby. They fished it from the canal, and as Ashleigh read the enclosed love letter, John got himself into position. Pulling out a beautiful engagement ring from Sam’s Fine Jewelry, he got onto a knee and popped the big question! The heartwarming picture below says it all!
