Darren took Abby on a romantic walk in Minneapolis, but little did she know, that it wasn’t all he had planned. At the picture-perfect moment, Darren got down on one knee and asked Abby to marry him. Surprised and teary-eyed, she said “Yes!” There was another surprise- Darren hired our sneaky photographer to be capturing every moment from a distance. After the big moment, our photographer came over and took them around for a gorgeous portrait session. It would be a day they never forget. Our pictures will make sure of it.

Tyler and Sara have known each other since they were kids.  Tyler played hockey with Sara’s older brother and they grew up around the rinks together.

Tyler says he was initially drawn in by Sara’s beautiful eyes and smile, and by the fact that she also played hockey.  The feeling was mutual.  Sara noticed his good looks, and was charmed by his soft side and romantic personality.

There was always something special there, but they didn’t start dating until after they graduated high school when Sara was attending college in Connecticut and Tyler was playing junior hockey in Canada.

The more time they spent together, the more they realized they had found The One!

“I realized he’s the only person on earth I could spend all day with and not get sick of,” said Sara.  “We have a lot o fun together!”

“I couldn’t have said it better myself,” Tyler added.  “We can be doing absolutely nothing and still have the best time just goofing around!”

So, Tyler set about to planning a picture-perfect engagement!  He wanted it to be something that paid tribute to where they were from, and made it easy for them to celebrate with nearby friends and family.  After a nighttime stroll through Rice Park, he dropped to one knee and proposed!  Our discreet proposal photographer captured each magical moment, before joining the pair for a beautiful engagement session.

It was the first anniversary of their very first date and so Rich wanted to to take Shannon back to the spot where it all had started: the restaurant where they had their first date.

Picture NoMad, the cool part of town North of Madison Square Park in Manhattan. Fall was finally here and  we were ready to help Rich secure his girl! Our paparazzi photographer was waiting out of sight to capture Rich and Shannon arriving and to photograph this amazing proposal. Shannon had no idea and was bowled over by Rich’s gesture.

We loved being part of this proposal as it was simple, evocative and the joy on both Shannon and Rich’s faces is evident. It doesn’t hurt that New York is at her most photogenic at this time of year too, which set the scene beautifully for their proposal photos.
