Jacob was the captain of the University of Arizona Shotgun Team the same year Shelby joined the team. They knew each other for about a year before going on their first date.
Both Shelby and Jacob were oblivious to the fact that throughout that whole first year they played on the same team, they both secretly had a crush on each other.
For Jacob, it was only after a few dates that he knew Shelby was the one. And she felt the same way, because for her Jacob felt like home.
Jacob was drawn to Shelby’s personality. She was always fun and outgoing and had a positive attitude towards everything.
Shelby loved that Jacob had such a good heart and always made her feel safe.
Jacob proposed to Shelby in San Francisco in the midst of looking for apartments. They will be moving there this summer and he wanted them to start their adventure together with a diamond ring.
