The group shares a toast as Colleen calls her family to share the news. Nathaniel invited two of his best friends, Nick and Justin, to walk her down the center of Columbus Avenue to where he waited, with one very important question in mind! After she said yes, the whole crew posed for a few great pictures.
Nathaniel and Colleen met at an outdoor bar in midtown one afternoon after work. Intrigued by her smile, Nathaniel walked over to strike up a conversation. They bonded over spending time in Massachusetts, and teased each other for rooting for rival sports teams, and by the end of the evening it was clear they shared a special connection.
Nathaniel knew that he wanted the engagement to take place in a big, open space somewhere in the heart of the city. After chatting with one of our proposal experts, he picked Lincoln Center as the spot to pop the question. Blizzard Jonas helped out a bit with keeping the moment private and intimate! The road closures and the snow made Nathaniel’s engagement absolutely magical.
The couple warmed up at a nearby bar with a champagne toast, and gave Colleen’s one-of-a-kind Jangmi Jewelers engagement ring a bit of camera time.
Nathaniel says he knew about a month into their relationship that they were meant to be. “I just wanted to spend every possible minute of my free time with her,” he revealed. “Coll is the kindest, sweetest person I’ve ever met and I feel incredibly lucky to be marrying her.”
