Nick and Kristin luckily found each other by swiping right on Tinder during one of his work trips in Kansas City, however, he didn’t receive the notification until he was already back in Boston. That didn’t deter them from starting a conversation.
Nick planned ahead for his next work trip in Kansas City and scheduled to fly in a day before his colleagues. They spent the day at the art fair and went on dates every consecutive night. Prior to leaving, he promised to fly her out to Boston. A couple months later, Kristin was on a plane.
Nick loved Kristin’s warm personality and approach to life. “She has a great sense of humor, though I would argue her comedic chops are unintentional.”
Aside from his perfectly flowing hair, the first thing that attracted Kristen to Nick was his smile. “We had instant chemistry and everything was very natural from the start. I felt like I knew him forever in just a few days. It was such a weird situation because he lived half way across the country, but I never once questioned it or thought that we couldn’t make it work. When I am with him I feel complete and I knew that I never wanted to be without him ever again.”
Nick wanted a beautiful summer day as the backdrop to his proposal. He had one of Kristin’s friends arrange a fake “girls dinner” and on their way, he was waiting for her with a diamond ring. He had the stunning engagement ring custom-made by My Trio Rings.
