How did you meet?
“We were high school sweethearts actually! We had the same advertising class together even though we were in different grades and we ended up partnering up in the class and partnering up in life too! At the age of 16 & 17 I don’t think we knew it was going to last this long but 6 1/2 years later, here we are!” -Tyrell
When did you know they were the one?
“After living together for a while we realized how much our relationship really makes sense! Of course there is a ton of love between us but also we want the same things in life, common goals and ambitions, and that makes a relationship work long term I think.” -Tyrell
“I graduated a year before he did and so I went off to college and we did long distance for a year. That means that most of our interaction was talking on the phone and you learn a lot about each other when all you do is talk!” -Brittany
What made you choose your proposal?
I chose the picnic in Central Park because that is something that totally fits our personalities. It was both private and public at the same time and we love being outdoors. Pretty much the whole reason we came to New York was so that I could propose! I knew I didn’t want to do it in our home town, we travel to too many cool places to settle for something back home. And I knew Britt would love it. She’s totally into picnics in the park and anything she can instagram.
