Luca’s gorgeous sunset sail marriage proposal was the perfect summer proposal idea
There’s something about summer’s end and sunset sails that seems so right. The weather has calmed down and the frenzy of trips and family events have slowed, leaving down time for the two of you to take to sea.
And what could be more romantic than finishing out a cruise of the local harbor with a marriage proposal?
That’s what Luca had in mind for his recent NYC marriage proposal. He worked with us to charter a historic sailboat to take him and his honey out for a harbor cruise.
The Build Up
The stunning boat took a loop of the harbor as the sun set, and the pair took in views of the city skyline from the water.
The Proposal
When the time was just right, the boat dropped anchor and Luca dropped to one knee to present her with an incredible ring.
After She Said Yes
They celebrated by sharing a champagne toast before Luca introduced our photographer, and the pair posed for photos as the final rays of sun backlit the Statue of Liberty.
