New York Love Stories: Scott and Richard

Scott and Richard have experienced many wonderful memories together since first meeting in San Antonio.

Scott reached out to Paparazzi Proposals in order to surprise him with an engagement that would show him exactly how special their relationship is.

Coordinating a romantic horse-and-carriage ride in Central Park, we arranged for our sneaky photographer to be waiting for them at Bow Bridge, where Scott planned to make this day unforgettable.

We had a chance to learn their meeting story and how they fell in love.

“Scott and I met one year ago at Golds gym in San Antonio, Texas. We had never ran into each other at the gym, even though we have been members for multiple years. Scott noticed me and kept looking at me and smiling at me multiple times, but had never came up to me. Later on Scott was brave enough to come tell me hi and asked me for my number, and asked if I would like to workout with him sometime.

From the moment I saw Scott, his smile attracted me to him. Who doesn’t love a nice big white smile?” -Richard

When I first saw Richard, his eyes and his innocent look are what gravitated me towards him.

I knew Richard was the one after our first date, I also told him this and it didn’t scare him away…Thankfully!  We shared many of the same interests from the moment we met, I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Richard. Not to mention he is confident, smart, and passionate. I couldn’t ask for a better person to spend the rest of my life with!

Richard has been to New York several times with his family over the Christmas holidays. They’ve never been able to take a carriage ride in Central Park because the weather never cooperated. After mentioning Central Park,  Richard was ecstatic to hear we were going on a carriage ride.

One of my best friends, Olivia, coordinated everything through her email, keeping it top secret for the biggest surprise for Richard. My mom, helped me the day of the proposal by letting Richard and I know she wasn’t going to join us on the “carriage ride through Central Park” instead let us have alone time. Little did he know he was in for more than just a carriage ride in Central Park.

I purchased the ring from David Yurman at The Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.” -Scott
