Oliver and his girlfriend were taking a romantic walk on the pier with their family, but his girlfriend had no idea that they had reached out to Paparazzi Proposals prior!
An ordinary walk quickly turned into one neither of them would forget when Oliver got down on one knee.

During their trip in Cancun Max invited his girlfriend to visit one of the beautiful cenotes at Lucero Verde. She had no idea the surprise to come.

We had a chance to speak with newly-engaged couple, and they shared with us how they met, and, inevitably, fell in love.

How and when did you guys meet?

We met February 2017 after Trevor came home from an Iraq deployment. Mutual friends introduced us as we are from the same suburb of Chicago.

What was the first thing that attracted you to one another?

Trevor: Her personality; she was easy to talk to and so upbeat.

Kari: His politeness and genuine interest in the things I talked about.

When did you know that they were the one?

Trevor: We took a trip to San Diego. We had a horrible time upon our arrival trying to get into our hotel and she just kept trying to make the best of it.

Kari: I was in the car with the radio on and they were telling stories about grooms crying when they saw their bride. I thought to myself “Trevor will definitely cry whether it’s me or someone else” and it physically ached to think about him marrying someone other than me.

Why did you choose to propose where you did?

I always knew I wanted to do it somewhere warm to make it somewhere special outside of our norm. Somewhere that felt like paradise. I love the ocean and the sunset and especially them combined, so the beach while on vacation in Florida was perfect.

Where did you purchase the ring?

The ring is from Brilliant Earth. Kari is obsessed with rose gold and they have the best colored rose gold jewelry. It was also really important to Kari that the diamond be one that was responsibly mined. Brilliant Earth not only mines responsibly, but they also reinvest some of the proceeds back into the mining communities. Our diamond helps continue funding for schooling in a village in the Democratic Republic of the Congo!

Cancun Proposal Photography| Todd and Ang

Ang and Todd met at Western Washington University. Upon graduating high school, Todd told himself that he wouldn’t have a girlfriend throughout college, but immediately changed his mind after meeting Ang the first day.
Todd was first attracted to Ang’s smile. “She has a beautiful, genuine and bright smile.”
Todd knew Ang was the one after 8 months of dating, but they both agreed on finishing school and starting a career before getting married. He waited five years before proposing.
Todd chose a romantic vacation in Cancun to surprise Ang with a diamond ring.
They had “window shopped” at several stores and at each store Ang had a new favorite. Todd had Robbins brothers create a custom ring embodying the elements of all of her favorite options.
Though their romantic trip in Cancun is coming to an end, their happily-ever-after is just beginning.

Craig had the perfect place for destination marriage proposal photography in mind for girlfriend Melanie! The couple were traveling from England to explore the Big Apple.

Little did Melanie know, Craig had been secretly consulting with Paparazzi Proposals’ engagement experts on how to plan and discreetly capture the picture-perfect New York marriage proposal at the Rockefeller Center ice rink, just in time for Christmas!

A few minutes after they took to the ice, he took a knee! Craig: I proposed here as it is an iconic place which features my favorite movie, Home Alone, and as it’s Christmas there is no better place than under the Rockefeller Christmas tree, even though I can’t ice skate very well and was terrified I would slip whilst getting down on one knee!

How They Met:

Craig: It was the 15th of March 2014 when we met. I was at the gym and happened to bump into an old friend I hadn’t seen for years. We got to talking and he told me he was going on a night out for a coworkers birthday, and asked me if I wanted to come along. The girl who’s birthday party it was happened to be Melanie, my fiancé. She seemed very fun, outgoing, and was easy to get on with.

Melanie: It was love at first sight to be honest. I saw his piercing blue eyes and cheeky smile. We started talking and I really fell in love with his sense of humour.

How They Knew:

Craig: I’m a huge West Ham football fan. For our second date, she surprised me with tickets to see them play!

Melanie: I knew he was the one as we were such similar people, and it seemed like we were just best friends who knew each other our whole lives.

That Engagement Ring!:

Craig picked out the perfect engagement ring for Melanie at Beaverbrooks in England.
