And just as interesting as this proposal idea is the story of how he and Johanna met!

Although they worked in different offices, Johanna in New York and Leo in Chicago, they got a chance to meet at a conference in Los Angeles back in 2007. Having spoken on the phone several times before, they were already intrigued by one another. When they finally met, their personalities immediately clicked. Johanna was just as gorgeous as he had imagined. While she was quickly drawn to his charismatic personality and smile.

Sadly, the meeting was brief as the two were forced to part ways when the conference ended. While they continued to stay in touch and hoped they would one day reunite, they eventually resigned to the fact that they may never live in the same city. Then, the company that introduced them provided a little more magic. Johanna was promoted and transferred to Chicago!

When Paparazzi Proposals suggested a stunning overlook at the Golden Gate Bridge, Leo jumped at the chance to propose there. As he put it, “bridges unite and permanently connect, like we just did.” We couldn’t have said it any better! After stopping to enjoy the amazing view of this iconic structure, Leo dropped to a knee, pulled out an amazing engagement ring from Ethan Lord Jewelers, and asked Johanna to marry him.
