“Colby and I met on Match.com. Our first date was at CK Pearl in Essex Mass. I immediately saw Colby standing next to a very nice Porsche! I thought, Wow, immediately followed by, I bet this guy lives at home. He kept telling me about how he had duct tape on him bumper, and he didn’t want me to judge him based on this duct-taped bumper.  I kept thinking, I don’t care what happened to that bumper, why on earth would you put duct tape on a Porsche?! We went for drinks after, and I quickly realized the Porsche was not Colby’s, and he was referring to the duct-taped Altima with lots of character. Our second date was in Newburyport, where I am pretty sure my best friend threatened his life if he didn’t treat me nicely.”

“For me, Colby’s kindness struck me and I immediately felt safe and steady with him. He was genuine from the start. Colby was also very accepting of my daughter (now, our daughter) Ava. His love for her is obvious and he was a true role model for her. Colby and I are also very similar people with very similar interests. We both like to travel and experience new things and have similar views on things. We complement each other nicely.”

“I knew Colby was the one a few times, such as after he met Ava and their relationship grew and became very loving and comfortable. By the summer, I had a strong trust in Colby and I knew that he loved me and I fully trusted in that. On Thanksgiving, my grandmother passed away. Colby was my rock through all of it. I couldn’t have gone through that without him.”
 
Colby purchased the stunning ring from Longs Jewelers.
