How They Met:

Justin and Eric met online, while he was living in New York City and Eric was living in Minnesota. 

After chatting for a few months, Justin and Eric could both tell that they shared a special connection, and made plans to meet up.

Sparks flew when they met in person for the first time on March 28, 2014.  Face to face, the conversation flowed even easier than it had in all the messages and phone calls.  Justin was smitten with Eric’s fun personality and infectious laugh.

How They Knew:

It was clear the chemistry they felt chatting with each other online was real, and they both knew that they had found someone special.

They continued to fly back and forth to see each other, and regularly talked on the phone.

Justin knew that he had found The One, and five months after they first met, he packed up all his belongings and left behind his job and his family and friends to start a new life with Eric. 

The Proposal Plan:

Justin wanted to propose the question somewhere relatively private, with panoramic views of the city where the two of them had fallen in love. 

He thought back to the moment he asked Eric to date him on the Brooklyn Bridge, and wanted to bring it full circle with a bridge proposal.  He also wanted to make sure their proposal moment was captured for the two of them to remember, and to share with his friends and family back home, with stunning professional proposal photography.  So, he contacted Paparazzi Proposals and spoke with one of our proposal planners.  We sorted out all the fine details for a perfectly stress free engagement.

He told Eric he had made reservations at one of their favorite restaurants, and invited him to go for a romantic nighttime stroll across the Stone Arch Bridge, to admire the Minneapolis skyline.  As they walked hand in hand, admiring the views, Justin dropped to one knee and popped the question with a gorgeous Cartier ring!

After the initial shock wore off, Justin introduced our sneaky snapper, who had beautifully documented the entire engagement with discreet, paparazzi style proposal photography!

He joined the them for a couple’s photo shoot, capturing some absolutely stunning engagement photos that the Justin and Eric can now share with friends and family.
