We shot another great Golden Gate proposal last weekend, and the adorable photos made us tear up!

Eric brought Ariane to Battery Park, famous for its sweeping views of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.  As she took in the incredible views, he dropped to one knee and pulled out a stunning gold and silver engagement band!

After she said yes, he pointed out our photographer, who had discreetly captured it all, and the pair posed for some adorable photos.  View their full photo slideshow, here.

We get a lot of inquiries about Golden Gate marriage proposals, so we put together a list of our favorite San Francisco proposal photography locations with the Golden Gate in the background.

3 Places to Propose with the Golden Gate in the Background

Crissy Field

Elizabeth chose the Paparazzi Proposals Package plus a post-proposal portrait session to capture each moment of her Crissy Field proposal to boyfriend Carl.

Want your proposal to have it all?  This may be the location for you.  A gently winding promenade separates the park’s green from a stretch of classic central-Californian coastline, all set against a full view of the Golden Gate.  Plan a stroll for your special someone, including a picnic on the lawn or a toast by the shore.  After you pop the question, take in the abundant scenery!  This is the perfect spot for proposal photography– the varied views offer endless photo opportunities!

Baker Beach

Styse added a musician and a dozen roses to his proposal at Baker Beach.  So romantic!

If the beach is your style, take your proposal to the more private shores of Baker Beach.  With sand, surf and the Golden Gate, this location has everything you need for a beach proposal with a Golden Gate view. Class it up with a dozen roses or a musician serenading you with ‘your song.’

Battery Park

Follow Eric’s lead for an absolutely incredible “Yes!” moment.

For sweeping views of the Bridge and the harbor below, head to Battery Park.  The outlook cliff is made for picture-perfect moments, and proposing here means that you’ll capture the Golden Gate and a bird’s eye view of the harbor in your engagement photos.
