Joel and Sara met in a connect group through Fellowship Church on Valentines Day of last year, 2015.

Despite how much she currently gripes about it, Sara was initially drawn to his “awesome” beard. Joel thought she was the most beautiful person in the room and after their initial conversation, it was obvious they had a connection.

After about three months of dating, Sarah knew he was the one.

“I told him that I loved him, and I knew that I did, because I really couldn’t picture life without him.”

Joel knew she was the one around the same time, but was more hesitant to admit he loved her because of the short amount of time they had been dating. However, he thought it was obvious they were meant to be together from the beginning.

On a perfect day, Joel planned a picture-perfect proposal over a gondola ride in Dallas, with our sneaky photographer discreetly capturing every moment!
