It was a busy day at the iconic Brooklyn Bridge but that didn’t stop Kevin’s plan to propose.

Stopping at the perfect spot to propose with the New York City skyline behind them, Kevin dropped to one knee to ask Ashley for forever. Even another couple taking a selfie behind Ashley couldn’t ruin their romantic moment.

Ashley was completely surprised!

After she said yes to her Brooklyn Bridge proposal, the now engaged couple went around for a Brooklyn Bridge engagement photo shoot.

Our New York proposal photographer captured their love with the iconic bridge and skyline behind them. They stopped at one of the most popular locations of the Brooklyn Bridge too.

Matthew reached out to Paparazzi Proposals because he wanted to surprise Alyson with a moment neither of them would forget on the Brooklyn Bridge.

We coordinated a romantic stroll, which had a stunning Brooklyn Bridge backdrop and the city skyline. When she least expected, he stopped midway to pull out a diamond ring!

Of course, she said “YES!” Our sneaky photographer and owner of the company, James Ambler, was discreetly capturing every moment. The day was full of surprises, as after the proposal, James revealed himself and took them around the area for an impromptu portrait session!

The surprise did not stop there, as the newly-engaged couple posed for a beautiful engagement portrait session after.

We also had a chance to speak with Chris, who shared with us how they met, and, inevitable, fell in love. From long distance to being together in New York City, with the skyline serving as the ultimate backdrop.

We first met through work back in 2015. We were both living and working in Canada up until October 2015, when I accepted a position in Bermuda. A couple days before shipping off to Bermuda for a 20 month work contract, we both learned that we liked each other, and so decided to give long-distance dating a shot. We’ve been together ever since.

We were initially just friends while we worked together.We got along so well and loved each other’s company because we had similar personalities and shared the same humor (dry). I knew she was the one within 3 months of dating – she’s gorgeous, patient, and above-all, very funny. It didn’t take long for me to realize she was a keeper.

We both moved to Connecticut in 2017 for really one overriding reason – our love for the city of New York and the Yankees. We spend a lot of our weekends in NYC, and our favorite spot in the entire city is Dumbo/Brooklyn Bridge Park. We find it absolutely gorgeous every time we walk this area. It was a no-brainer in my mind to choose Brooklyn Bridge Park as our proposal spot.

I knew exactly where and when to propose (i.e. Brooklyn Bridge park, our favorite spot ever, and at dusk, to capture Manhattan skyline perfectly)

The Brooklyn Bridge Park was the best spot for Scott to propose to Ashley-Lynn.

The weather outside may be frightful but the love in the air of New York City is much stronger. Scott and Ashley-Lynn were both bundled up but little did Ashley-Lynn know that this stroll would forever change her life. Scott guided her to the desired spot and with a few caps of snow on the ground in the Brooklyn Bridge Park, he dropped to one knee and asked for Ashley-Lynn’s hand in marriage. Her smile says it all. Paparazzi Proposals was proudly there to capture this moment. Congratulations to these two lovebirds!
