Tyler wanted to plan the perfect marriage proposal for childhood sweetheart, Sara. So he popped the question in their favorite park while they were back in their hometown of St. Paul for the holidays.

A wintertime engagement suits these two lovebirds, who met when Tyler played ice hockey on her older brother’s team. The pair grew up together, and began dating while Sara was attended college in Connecticut and Tyler was playing junior hockey in Canada.
“The first thing that attracted me to Sara was her beautiful eyes and smile,” Tyler shared with us after their engagement. He wanted to make sure the entire evening was perfectly photographed to remember for years to come, so he arranged for our surprise proposal photographer to discreetly capture the moments before, during, and after he proposed!
