Joshua and Christina met in medical school at the University of South Florida. They became friends through a study group and he (finally) asked her out on a date a few months later.
Christina thought Josh was extremely funny. She never met anyone with his style of humor, but even more importantly, she never met anyone who was always so genuine. He never pretended to be someone he’s not, and she loved exactly who he was.
At first, Josh was most attracted to Christina’s passion for music and movies. However, he soon learned that her best quality was her ability to love unconditionally.
They both knew forever wasn’t enough after one year of dating. They had been through so much during medical school, a lot of amazing days and some of the toughest days of their lives. But both were days they spent together.
Christina loves the outdoors. And to Joshua, nothing screamed the outdoors more than 70-degree weather, beautiful Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline, which all made for the perfect proposal.
