Please tell me, better yet show me, you are all going to encourage & facilitate the restoration of our country, & of us all becoming more of what we strive to be as a people, by not having a New York City Marathon blocks away from our fellow human beings who are in such need of fundamental necessities, such as a heart felt smile, a touch, a hug of connection, a conversation, a drink of water, the demonstration of love in the form of another’s time.

Please tell me we are instead going to host the New York City Flash Mobathon & these 30 some thousand able bodied, energetic, skilled & motivated individuals are going to show up for the race, & at the sound of the starting gun, will disperse one to two blocks, in any direction, request some water, food, diapers, a roll of toilet paper, soap, clothes, blankets, gloves, trash bags, or whatever, & then continue on another block or two, in that same direction, & bless, assist, help, love another human being.

Please inspire us, lead us by example, & assist us all in evoking that great American (Human kind) spirit of ” For in the final analysis, our most basic common link… Is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breath the same air. We all cherish our children’s futures, and we are all Mortal” & “With History being the final judge of our deeds” lets get this one right!!!!!

This IS truly bad. I still believe we ARE that good!!!!!
