Our Philadelphia proposal photographer made sure to capture every unforgettable moment.

The newly-engaged couple celebrated with an impromptu portrait session, and we got to learn about how they met and fell in love!

How and when did you guys meet?

“We are high school sweethearts! We met in homeroom class our sophomore year and we even won cutest couple senior year. We have been in a long distance relationship ever since we graduated. Our colleges and careers kept us a part, but we always managed to travel to see each other.”

What was the first thing that attracted you to one another?

“We both played sports in high school and were each other’s biggest fans.”

When did you know that they were the one?

“Everyone thought our long distance relationship was crazy. It became normal to drive hours just to spend one night together. We realized we had a special bond that was unbreakable.”

Why did you chose to propose where you did?

“The view of the Ben Franklin Bridge at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia is breathtaking and the proposal happened in the city we spent so much time in. We went to many sports games, restaurants, bars, and concerts and made many special memories together in the city of Brotherly Love.”

Did anyone help you plan the proposal?

“Both of our families took part in the surprise. After the surprise proposal on the pier at Penn’s Landing, we had a surprise party at our house where our families held up signs and cheered as we pulled up. Then we had another surprise party with our friends at the local bar down the street. It was the perfect day surrounded by our family and friends, something that means the world to us. It was a day we will never forget.”
