Chengrui had organised with our partners at Proposal Ideas to have a private space prepared for him and Dianadian, with Moet champagne and flowers laid out on the table and our Paparazzi Proposals Photographer poised to capture her surprise. As she turned up on the balcony, with the Empire State Building lit up in the distance, her elation was evident. As Chengrui dropped to one knee and she cried tears of joy before jumping into his arms, fewer people could have looked happier.
